Had a run into Totnes for a look around.
Devon REALLY has got it in for tourists, or at least camper vans: I think ≥80% of all car parks have a height restriction of 6' 6'', 2mtr, or there abouts. In consequence we were forced to park at the miss-named ''Long Marsh'' car-park. It otter be LONG MARCH, poor old Gaffer was well paggered by the time we actually got anywhere near what could be described as the Town.
There may not, actually, be a ''letter to The Times'' but there may well be a few not so well chosen words to Devon County Council, Totnes council, Paignton council, Old uncle Tom Cobley and all. (We didn't get to Widecombe or they'd hear about it too)
