Dragon Head

Lallemantia canescens aka Dragon Head.  A plant native to Central and SW Asia where it grows in dry mountain habitats.  I got some seed from Gothenburg Botanic Garden last year, this being a self sown seedling that appeared after last years plants perished.  A macro shot, the head of the flower being just 1cm long, the plant up to 20cm for me, bigger in nature.

Jamie and I slept badly last night so this has been a quiet day.  A very exciting stage of the Tour and quite a bit of paperwork sorting have filled the time not spent with Jamie.
