Sleepy

Today we went to a free trial of musical caterpillars - it was lovely melody enjoyed singing, instruments, scarves and puppets. 6 other friends went - although it was good, it's ordinarily £6 a session and really is no better than rhyme time at the library - so we wont be signing up. Melody was a bit shy initially (wouldn't get a puppet) but I held her hand the first time and she was fine alone after that. I learnt not to push her but show her it's ok.
After we all went to the lord Louis pub for skinny lattes (I forgot my purse - oops) and then home for lunch and nap. Melody had a huge 2 hr one and I had 40 winks.. First day nap for ages
I made a stew - and rather than it be a trauma for melody loitering in kitchen being told no stop touching it, stop grabbing me etc I did a chopping upstairs and melody played.. I should have done this ages ago - saved a few tears
Melody picked up gerrard (her jelly kitten rabbit) and lion pillow as if to go to nursery, and seemed so happy when I put them in the front room and left without them.. They really settle her they said at nursery
Mike at footy tonight so we played and once asleep I watched bake off and lilyhammer - best shows on tv imo
