2017 Friday -- Moon Setting

This photo was captured in the early early hours of the morning. The official report is that the moon will be completely full at 9:00 p.m., which is another 15 or so hours beyond the time these photos were taken.

Watching the illumination of Estero Bay here on California's Central Coast is quite beautiful and there are just a couple times each year when this is visible, so watching this in the wee hours of the morning is a quiet, still, poignant moment.
