On to the next leg
Laura and Thomas left for Tonbridge today enroute for Cornwall on the last stage of their around Britain summer tour. They are about as far away from their home in Forres on the southern shores of the Moray Firth as it is possible to be and still be in the same country.
Thomas, looking like everyone's image of a Highland Man, would not have looked out of place 300 years ago in full highland dress, which he does wear on occasions - at their wedding last June for example. He's a thoroughly lovely person with a deep interest and love of the natural world. A love he shares with Laura which makes them an easy couple to be with as they share similar values to us, if a little further along the spectrum.
Laura, after many years working in conservation, completed her teacher training this year and will be working full time in a classroom next year. She's not sure how that will be after years of being outside. Thomas has, for many years, worked as a rickshaw rider on the streets of Edinburgh, no mean feat if you know how hilly those streets are in places.
Having to use the iPhone for blips at the moment. All my shots on the Panasonic now have dark spots on them which require work to remove them before they can be used. I can see a spot on the inside of the lens, but can't get at it. I'm not even sure that is the cause as I'm told that it may be dust on the sensor. Any ideas? And any ideas as to how to solve it?
