The tables are turned

Today we drove to Dartmouth to have an afternoon out on a double kayak seeing the coast from the sea instead of the land. My shoulders are telling me I have done some serious rowing, I am not used to exercising that part of my body. Unfortunately, water and cameras don't mix so I wasn't able to take any photos while we were on the water. We saw lots of young sea birds and some interesting houses not seen from the land. The morning group had seen seals but the tide was too high in the afternoon for them. My blip is taking from Kingswear as we were waiting for the ferry and is looking across to Dartmouth. Four years ago when we started looking at property in Devon, we stayed at a house right at the top of the hill to the right of the photo, it was a long walk uphill. Ours was the red kayak in extras.
