View from a bridge

Another long cycle ride (for us) over the causeway onto Noirmoutier island, all round the coast and then back over the bridge.

This photo was taken from the middle of that bridge as we ended the route.

We were sustained on the journey by a couple of stops for beers, lots of water, and a very welcome bar of chocolate.

In the end we were out for about 7 hours.

A quick stop at the supermarket for mojito mix on the way home. Not for tonight - tomorrow is forecast to be hotter than today so currently we are planning a "rest day" which I am hoping involves Kindles, mojitos and not much else.
