Give me frogs

You blippers are having an effect on me. I went out for an EARLY MORNING walk this morning. The temp on my computer said Shenyang was -22 so I rugged up but it didn;t seem that cold when I ventured out.

This lady is obviously selling these frogs. They are used as a symbol of good luck.. Some people may have seen the one armed waving cats that some Chinese use for good luck (and prosperity) in their business. These frogs are used in much the same way. I don't know if there is a 'cultural' difference between the two.

This picture ended up with a very strange effect. Well to me anyways. I suppose you 'had to be there' to know it, but the taxis in the background are across a very large intersection and for some reason they look too big from the angle I was taking the pic. Maybe some type of effect from the fog.. It was pretty foggy.

EDIT: Just so people know.. As crazy as it sounds soming from someone who was born and raised in the sub-tropics.. I love that kind of weather.
