DB Class 160 Shunter

I had no grand plan when I built up my collection of German railway engines, I simply bought models that appealed to me.  I first saw this little electric shunter on a documentary about post war Germany and there followed much research to find out what it was.  Remember this was before the internet made things so easy to research - even if quite often the info is corrupt.  Anyway I was down in Portsmouth staying at The Post House on Hayling Island and went to Frattons, a local model shop and saw this on the shelf.  It was £28 and today it's worth second hand about £50 - mint and boxed.  I wish all my investments had been so successful.
