Macaroons

Ah, lovely macaroons from the Kilted Frog, our wonderful local french deli.

Rugby for the little one this morning with daddy and poppa, the library for the older one with mummy and granny. Everyone seemed happy with their allocated slot.

We re-grouped for lunch and then to the sunshine of the garden for coffee and these gorgeous macaroons before setting to work mowing the lawn and weeding the borders.

The flavours of these macaroons are so intense and yet somehow so delicate too. I'd recommend a half of lemon mixed with a half of chocolate. Nice.
