Under the Dome

Thankfully not the dome in Stephen King's novel, but the dome of Hamilton Old Parish Church.
I was taking photos of headstones in the graveyard as part of my 'job' as a volunteer photographer/transcriber of gravestones to help with genealogical research, when a man, whom I presume was the caretaker, asked if I'd like to see inside the church. He opened it up for me and allowed me to stay as long as I liked.
Built in 1734 and designed by William Adam, it is beautiful inside and out.
