Baby Moorhen

Ugly little thing but quite cute too. A little ball of fluff. He got parted from mum and sibling. They were a long way down the river. This little fellow seemed worried about crossing the weeds.
Mum did wait until he caught up then off they all went.
A rest day today because yesterday I swam in the morning and did a 40k bike ride last night.
Spent this evening with my friend. She dog sits at various houses. Gets lonely at times. Mind you I'd quite like the job. She goes to some lovely houses. Wish I'd stayed the night as so unbelievably hot in our attic bedroom. Maybe a bed in the garden would help.
