The courtyard gardens at Silverado are very colorful now and are filling in--no worse for Longshanks and Petunia (the director's dog) chasing each other through them, thank goodness. My mom and I took a shorter walk because of the heat, and I heard mostly positive things about "school" and her "job." At one point she said she wanted to branch out a little; she said she'd go around to different companies to see if they needed any office help. Then she said, "You're not saying anything." Not for long! I said, well, I'm not sure they'd hire an 80 year old. She said I was probably right and said something about not wanting to work anyway.
