Antiques Roadshow

Something quite different today! A visit to Floors Castle near Kelso which was hosting the latest Antiques Roadshow for BBC TV. A magnificent setting for the experts and visitors and great fun to see so many famous faces.

The weather started out dull and wet, but soon brightened when the sun came out and the temperature soared! We'd gone early and left early, just as many more were arriving and we had a wonderful lunch in the Floors Castle Nursery Restaurant.

A dramatic start to the day, when Bonnie (the real dog!) developed a swollen jaw and eye, so had to visit the local vet as an emergency. No obvious reason was found, but she could have damaged her mouth on a sharp stick. She is now on antibiotics and seems much improved. Extra shows her recovering later and she is not usually this sleepy in the day time:-)
