Tiny demon

The big demons, the Dukes of Hell, tempt people to treason and murder and betrayal. But there are little demons too. And their business is the business of engendering small acts of meanness.
If the tiny demons succeed, if they can get us to fall in small ways, then they become bigger demons.
And we become ready to have greater falls.
