Jousting at the Palace

We're not been able to go yet the annual jousting at Linlithgow Palace for the past few years as we have been away on holiday when it has been on. So, despite the rain, Ethan was keen to go this year. We invited his friend from football, Owen, along with us.

The boys enjoyed play fighting together, wrestling, tug of war ... oh and watching the actual jousting too!

Although it was damp, in the main the rain held off, which was a bonus,

Although it's the first time Owen has spent the day with us, the boys got on so well together, he ended up coming back to ours for dinner too.

A very successful day!
