The Ring of Brodgar
THURSDAY
An overcast but dry morning. We ventured over to The Ring of Brodgar - A late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age stone ring built in a true circle, almost 104 metres wide. Although it is thought to have originally contained 60 megaliths, today, only 27 stones remain.
Followed by an afternoon in Stromness checking out the tea shops and museum.
