3000!

Whew! I made it. It was a close call a couple of times.

This is my avatar, my signature cabbage tree that I shot on my very first day on Blipfoto. The tree has grown so big since then, with many branches and cascades of flowers in spring. Appropriately, today it bears 3000 little white berries. Count them and see for yourself!

My thanks to all who make Blipfoto such a great place. Especially those of you who continue to support me although I am no longer actively commenting as I once was. There is a mountain of things I want to do and I am taking three times as long to do anything these days. One of my new pursuits is genealogy, which is as time consuming as Blip. I am finding out a lot of very interesting things about where I come from. And I’m coming to grips with a new DSLR after years of using Powershots. Mostly, I love to take photos, and Blipfoto gives me the excuse to do that every day.
