Veryan to Portloe and back
Backblip 23/06/17
Very overcast and much cooler so perfect for walking from Veryan to Portloe. The photos are of Portloe, a village that hasn't changed visually in over a hundred years. Quite something when I think of all the changes to buildings over here that have happened in the last few decades let alone a century!
By the time we got back to Veryan and had a picnic in the very cool air, we decided we needed hot drinks (and cake) in a tearoom. TheAphid had this 'fully loaded' hot chocolate, yummy. We ended up chatting to the artist who runs the gallery with his daughter. He was from Leeds and loved showing us his work.
We popped to Truro in the afternoon for more supplies and popped into the Royal Cornwall Museum for a quick look before they closed.
