Brookgreen Gardens

One of my most favorite places to visit is Brookgreen Gardens in the South Myrtle Beach/Murrell's Inlet area.   The above photo is a swamp maintained to show life there.  The people in the photo are only reflections (except their feet) as they are on the same boardwalk as I was, but across from me.  The birds in the photo have reflections, but they are shown as looked live and in color.  The extra photo is from Ribbit the Exhibit which leaves the Gardens this week on a tour of other sculpture venues.  There are 19 frog sculptures in various parts of the gardens.  Brookgreen contains many acres, and is filled with beautiful trees, plants, flowers, many pieces of outdoor sculpture, and special exhibits like the frogs, and wildlife.  It is wonderful and I now have an annual pass compliments of my son and his family.
