By a process of elimination...
...it HAD to be this.
"We" had our, now customary, visit to either Houghton or Dobbies.
This week it was Houghton's turn.
Clicky had occasion to go back "inside" so Jerra and I had a wander to the pond. He opted to "circumnavigate" it, I was feeling too idle so stayed where I was while he wandered. I don't think I've ever seen three varieties of thistle growing so close to each other.
I went to look for them and was gobsmacked to read ...
"There are 150 species of thistles worldwide, with 20 species in the UK.", enough to make me stop looking.
While he wandered I "Macroed" this is the best result of the multitude.
