Back In Time?

50 years ago Northampton had several haberdashers, selling fabric, thread, lace, buttons and other paraphernalia for making things with material. But as cheap clothing from overseas began to flood shops, haberdasheries disappeared.

It felt like going back in time to find this well-stocked stall on the market today. Perhaps the old crafts are making a comeback?
