After the crowds

Visited Waddesdon Manor today with D & N. We've been promising each other that we would make time & go. Today was the day - one of the hottest days of the year.

Anyhow we had a great day & promised to return soon....not sure why we don't go more often as it is only 6 or 7 miles away. I resisted most of the syns today though I did give in when we got home & indulged in a lovely cold beer...wow it was lovely. My first for about 9 weeks !

Home by 1730 then on the sofa for a quick snooze. After that we each had an omelette & some salad.

My extra shows some of the gorgeous art that you can see in the house...& there may be one of you two too N & D - not today but maybe tomorrow.
