Willow Warbler

This morning I went to Queen's Head with the Birdwatching group. There were lots of birds around as we could hear them singing but they mostly remained invisible as they were hidden by leaves.

While walking along the canal we saw a family of willow warblers in the reeds, I just managed to get a photo of this onebefore it disappeared.

I dashed home and made some scones to take to F's house as his brother and sister-in-law were calling in on their way home from Llangollen Eisteddfod. It was lovely to see them and we enjoyed a couple of hours of catching up before they continued on their journey.
