Rat!

A rat came into my kitchen during the night. The door was open due to the warm weather. 

The rat man came very quickly, but could not catch it, so he told me to close the door and let the traps do it's work. It didn't though. The rat is still there and it has now turned the kitchen upside down. The rat man think it is panicking because it is trapped and can't get out again, so now we have left the window open and the door closed in the hope that it will leave through the window. 

There are traps in the kitchen too - I would prefer to see it dead, but outside is still better than inside, so I am really hoping it will run out soon. 

I have thrown everything that was in my kitchen away and bought a new kettle and a new microwave oven to put up as soon as the rat has gone. 

Besides from dealing with the rat situation, I have been to work and the boys have had a lovely walk in the woods.
