Summer garden
These caught my eye today in parts of the garden not normally noticed. The ground-covering sedum in the lower picture has burst into this pink carpet of little star-shaped blooms and the wild orchids on the right have sprung up out of nowhere. The yellow flower with its spectacular stamens covers a St John's Wort plant (hypericum) that has self seeded, and the white flowers cover a spirea bush.
