Cigarette break

A day of wandering slowly around baking hot Hoi An and sitting in cafes. I went to the office of the photographer running the workshop to get more information and signed up. It’s three days of mainly people photography which is totally out of my comfort zone but hopefully I’ll learn a lot. We’ll be going to villages around Hoi An and the lagoon south of Hue.


There was a dinner this evening for the group. There are only 5 of us on the workshop (and one is the leader’s friend) with two photography tutors. Judging from all the technical talk about cameras, not only am I the only woman in a group of men, but I also know the least about photography. We start at 4.45am tomorrow!
