Induction

Today was my induction day at university. UCS are based in Ipswich but have bases at various colleges in Norfolk & Suffolk, Gt Yarmouth college being one of them and that is where I spent my day. I was feeling pretty nervous it has to be said but thankfully my friend Alice who I met doing the evening photography course is doing this degree with me so we were able to give each other moral support :)
All in all, it was actually a pretty boring day. Don't get me wrong, I am so excited about starting my course and meeting up for an hour with our tutor (well one of them) and meeting the other classmates (all 2 of them! Yes, that's right, there's only 4 of us!!) was great. The assessment exercise which they gave all of us to do was pretty good too, it gave us a bit of an insight into how we should lay our assignments out. The rest of the day, the boring bits, was mainly taken up with paperwork, talks about the way UCS works and the photo taking for our ID cards - I look utterly criminally insane divine in both of mine!! LOL

Anyway, once it was over for the day, I quickly popped into town to hand a CV in for a part time job before heading home to pick up Arwen from her friends. This is one of only 9 pic's I took today!! The horror! :D It's the house where Anna Sewell was staying when she wrote Black Beauty :)
