Rise And Shine

As Jacqui is back at work today, Duke and I were on the beach before sunrise. Some cloud on the horizon meant that we did not see the sun for a while, but up she rose eventually.

Duke was a bit spooked by scary seaweed and even scarier waves. He got his paws wet, but was not keen.

And he definitely has some hound in him. Judging by the Baskervile-like howls when we left him to go to the rubbish bins last night, quite a lot actually.

Other than that, he has proven to be the gentlest, softest thing you could imagine.

I hope he doesn't change!
