It was the Village Show last week and they had a Photography section so for the first time since the girls were young enough to take an interest, I put in some entries. Unfortunately I was marshalling an orienteering event which took longer than expected so I did not get back before the show finished. Our lovely neighbours brought me back several pounds of prize money but then were unable to tell me if my local scene or my landscapes had been successful. When I popped down to the show tent I was pleased to find that I had won the best photographic exhibit and this wonderful trophy, but still no one could tell me which photo was the winner!
