Bottlenose Dolphin, from Chanonry Point this evening. Perhaps an old rangefinder camera, with a standard lens and B&W film, isn't the best thing for wildlife photography... especially in poor light. 'Scuse the squinty horizon.

The canoe club were heading out in their sea kayaks from Rosemarkie, nearby, and after collecting an old hifi to repair from one of them, I took a wander along to the point. Probably should have joined them for a paddle... but not tonight.

Could make out the dolphins were about from nigh on a mile away. A crowd of watchers were also enjoying the free show. Typical of a wee Westie that was there, it was barking at them (the dolphins), and given half a chance would have dived in to sort them out. Other four legged fiends friends were more placid and sensible.
