X marks the spot

Down to Newcastle for the day in horrible teeming rain. In fact, I think the weather in Newcastle was even worse than here in Edinburgh. It never stopped all day. I was hoping to get lots of steps in, but in the end only managed a damp walk between the University campus and Haymarket metro station. Anyway, it was a new experience going on the Newcastle metro.

Feeling rough today. Sore bits all over. Could barely walk up the steps at the station. Must be something, because otherwise I cannot understand how I walked 120k steps last week, when I could barely manage 6k today. I said I must be sickening for something on Sunday evening. Now I know I was.
