Disrobing

A bit of a mizzle on the allotment this morning - but it made everything look so fresh. The leeks I planted last summer are now about to shed their protective coats and burst into flowery spheres!
The  fence still working - yay! Once I had seen to the hens and done a little inspection of my plot and a bit of random tidying, it was down to Party Girls to give her mums hen her last treatment. They have moved her into the original huge wooden coop she shared with the other hens before the fox got them. She was still shut in and after treating her she roamed off - so then I had to get PG's mum to come and catch her! They are going to move the run and coop later that day. Although the mum would like her to join the allotment hens, the dad does not. Poor lonely hen - and I bet the red mites will be back and I'm not sure they will notice. Anyway I had a good chat with mum and party Girl about mites, the Refugee Day and their holiday! Party Girl and The Angel have suggested a shed party for me on thursday as they have belated birthday presents for me! The last shed party was last summer saying goodbye to French Dweller!  I think thunderstorms are due so we may have to party at mine!
Rest of day spent at home hoping the new fence would arrive - it didn't! Checking my emails late afternoondiscovered  it is to be delivered tomorrow around midday! Still I got cleaning, hoovering, tidying and washing done!!
