Clydesdale Close
Or, at least, not far away - this is a pend in Biggar, below, what a ghost sign tells us, used to be the Clydesdale Hotel.
My attention was drawn to the original long slabs for cartwheels, then, as the view opened up, the pretty cottages beyond. I understand that the roof at the far left belongs to a Co-op store.
On our way home we passed a field with interesting flowers, (see extra) possibly a variety of Pea, included as they looked so bright and fresh in the wet weather.
