St. Mawes and Malpas

This morning we drove to St. Mawes and visited the Tudor Castle. I listened to the free audio guide which really brought the castle to life with tales of the Spanish Armada approaching the area. Rik and TheAphid wandered around  by themselves not wanting to listen to the  guide, a shame as they really missed out.
We had a short mooch around the village. I really liked the thatched house I've added to extras, although I imagine there could be a problem with mice in that roof!

After lunch we did another circular walk from Malpas to St. Clement taking a wrong turn right at the beginning but it was okay apart from it being too hot!
