Independence Day

Celebrating the fourth of July isn't really a Dutch thing to do, but for me it's the day that I had the courage to leave a more than well paid  advertising job and became independent more than twenty years ago.

Last week I graduated for my new career as a professional photographer and in two weeks time I'm opening shop in a new studio I found last week.

What better day to choose as a starting point for a new future?
