Tiny Tuesday:Elephant

This elephant is 6cm high so relatively tiny compared to a real elephant.

It has always been part of my life but I only found out a few years ago that we think my father brought it from Colombo on the way back from one of two visits to England he made as a child. Probably the second one, just before WW2. 
His mother was English and never really embraced Australia so made several trips back. No mean feat in those days when it would have taken at least 6 weeks by ship.
