Wedding
The day dawned almost clear and with just a tiny breeze. I didn't actually see the dawn but it probably did. Anyway when i was up that what it was like. That meant after the Registry Office wedding in the morning the bride and groom and their siblings could be flown by helicopter to a mountain top somewhere and have amazing photos taken. The forester and the other support crew set out the chairs and turned on the heaters in the barn for the ceremony. The heaters didn't really make make much difference and it was warmer outside in the winter sunshine. The carpet stayed rolled up until the last minute to keep it clean. The bride and groom arrived by helicopter which the guests could watch. The guests then filled in followed by the families of the bride and groom and the photographer. That's when I knew it would soon be my turn. I was little choked up for the introduction but I got myself under control and it all flowed very well. I have known the bride since she was a baby so there was more emotion than I expected. The happy couple are in the extra. The photographer had delicious winter light behind them and that old cottage.
