Grasmoor
The fell near the centre of this blip that drops down steeply is called Grasmoor.
The gras derives from grise meaning wild boar! There are at least two Grisedales in The Lake District...
There was a chilly breeze as we played golf this morning! It was like a bright Winter's day!
However, we soon warmed up when the sun came out!
The blip was taken from the 11th hole at Cockermouth Golf Course looking across to Buttermere and Loweswater...
Sorry those trees got in the way...Hee! Hee!
