The Old Peat Track

The early chilly northerly wind gradually abated.  This allowed me to go to morning dancing where I just couldn’t stop making mistakes in the Easter Reel.

I went through to Stromness and bought two hardback books - a rare treat.

Rumours are that tonight ‘Welcome to the Ceilidh’ will be danced through in Kirkwall.  The suspense is palpable.

Aged eight I fell off my tricycle.  I note that my claim to Fire Auto and Marine has yet to be settled by Emil Savundra.  Perhaps I never put a stamp on my claim letter.  I contemplated this as I walked up the old peat track.
