Ouch!

Not as chilly last night. Up early, cuppa and a bacon and egg sarnie courtesy of Dave, then down to hire some bikes for the day. Picked up the Munda Biddi track which is a cycle track that runs from Perth, 1000km all the way down to Albany - we managed about 12km of it and also did a 4km trail that proved well and truly that I was NOT an experienced mountain bikie person!! (as suggested on the sign at the beginning of it!) Should have read it more carfeully, vertical hils, sheer drops, jumps over big tree roots and logs - the boys loved it though (unlike my bum which is strange as it has more then enough padding!!)

Back to camp for lunch - the weather was rather roasty toasty in the high 20s the boys relaxed while Dave and me went for a drive down to Lane Poole. Wild flowers everywhere, the smell of freesias was just beautiful! Now the only slight problem with the weekend ... was that the pub was shut - being refurbished ... they could have made a killing on a perfect & busy weekend - luckily we had our own supply in our wee fridge!

Another relaxing evening after a great day ...... the boys were asleep at 7!!!!
