Ready For Picking

From the same tree that I blipped a few weeks ago.  There are cherries everywhere now.

Work was work always is on a Monday.  Frustrating and hugely busy. 

I wrote to a bloke this afternoon asking "When will the changes for program X be available for our developers?  I''m only asking about the current version (9.4) of the program, because I know you'll be installing the newer version (17.02)* later in the year."

He wrote back "We haven't got a timescale for the new version yet."

That is an answer to a question I didn't ask.  My very specific question was completely ignored.  He's not getting away with that.  I'm going to visit him in his office and Paxman-like, I'm going to get the answer to the question I have asked**.

As a balm to that, here's a rather splendid thing to read.

*Nobody knows what happened to the versions between 9.4 & 17.02
**Although Paxman didn't get the answer, he got some great tv out of it
