The saga continues .......

Sunday 2nd July 2017         (backblip)

We had arranged to go round to Mum's this afternoon ...... we had bought her a small telephone table & also one for her TV ...... we were planning to put them together there.

The small table was no problem ...... when it got to the larger table ...... we got part way through assembling it when we discovered that one side panel had the holes in the wrong place ....... no way we could make it work ....... unbelievable!

We rang Customer Service (as it was after 4pm & the shop would be closed) ...... they told us to take it into the shop during the week & get the panel replaced!

So Mum still doesn't have here TV & she was looking forward to watching Wimbledon! 

There is also a problem with the bedroom window & apparently the electricity meter has the wrong reference number ..... the number on it belongs to another property a few miles away!

I think we could write a sitcom! You just couldn't make it up! :-))))

After getting Mum some tea ...... we decided we deserved a short walk ...... it had to be short as it was already 6.30 pm (18.30) .... so we had a quick half an hour trip to Westgate Woods which was lovely :-)
