Muddy Run the 2nd.

Fellow Blipper Karen, Daughter Number 2 and 2 of Karens friends took part in our Second Muddy Run for Cancer research which was perfect for my Blip Challenge for BUSY!

We had a great day and the weather was certainly in our favour after a wet start. The course is supposed to be the hardest of the Muddy Run's and Karen did amazingly well considering she had an ankle injury.

Mr W was chief photographer (when he wasn't too busy telling the marshals to squirt muddy water at us or laughing too much!) and he appeared to really enjoy the route, sticking with us the whole way!

This was the first time Daughter Number 2 had taken part and she said she had such a great time (despite me trying to drown her in the mud pit!) that she has already said she's 100% doing it next year!!

After our run where a few of us got totally covered in mud, we went back to Karen and Alans for a well deserved drink and nosh. Thank you Karen and Alan for hosting! DN2 was so muddy, she had to be hosed off in Karens pool first!!!

Sadly my day ended with a migraine so I dumped the muddy gear out the back door and headed for bed for the next 12 hours!!!!!
