Cardinal pose

Today turned out to be a nice sunny day for the most part, at least it did not rain where I was. I got out for a couple of walks today in the afternoon I was able to get quite close to this cardinal looking for some peanuts. In my extra shot the was a family of blue jays close by this parent was also looking for a peanut. the pair did go after several peanuts and the young one was fed in the bushes near by
