Stars and Stripes in the 'Stones

Two days away from our Independence Day, but it is already noisy. There are fireworks "tents" in almost every spare lot, and people are buying. Booms and bangs into the wee hours of the night.

The Great Lakes National Cemetery is usually quiet on a Sunday afternoon, and today was no exception. No sand-hill cranes to be found, but plenty of flags and headstones.
