Up at Dawn

Every morning I get up at 6.30am to take the girlfriend to the train station. I am fortunate to work for myself so can go back to bed if I choose or for a swim if I am being good. Over the BST summer months I enjoy being awake as its lovely and light and I can get lots done. As the darkness comes in in depresses me, making it hard to get up in what seems like the middle of the night. At the moment we are just on the cusp with the sun rising as I get up. Fortunately for me I will be away for the next couple of months so will only return for the darkest most depressing time of deep winter.
Busy day today. Viewing houses and going to see the Inspiral Carpets this evening!
