Not so fast

The monthly social event we organise for the refugee families this time coincided with the week of Eid al-Fitr, the Muslim festival that celebrates breaking the fast after Ramadan.

There was a carnival atmosphere with the families in their smartest clothes, piles of dates and corn fritters, and hordes of children even more excitable than usual.

One of the Cambridge Quaker groups donates the use of this building for our events. It's quite an undertaking to accommodate 80+ people and very generous of the Quakers.
