The pine woods

Huge storm in the night and the weather still uncertain when we woke, but took the camera up into the pine woods that surround the bay. Here it's just beginning to clear. I loved this combination of sun on green, grey skies and a sea of multiple blues. A really beautiful place, with a rugged (and not entirely safe-feeling) path climbing higher and higher above a sheer drop to the rocks and the water.

Spent much of the day on the beach soaking up the sun. Canyamel is more German than English as far as tourists go and the food is as much Italian as Spanish, so it's quite a mixture but there are some really good restaurants - so we also had another good night out.
