Ironman
With a few miles still to go on the 56 mile cycle course, the cyclist probably did not notice the poppies as his thoughts would be on the half marathon that he still had to run in the Edinburgh Ironman race.  After already having completed a swim in the cold sea, where the course had been shortened due to the very rough conditions, it must have been gruelling for him and the other 1600 competitors, especially in the strong wind.
